In accordance with the ongoing work on the renovation of production in wine plant technological equipment stock in shops was completely replaced. There were concluded contracts with an Italian company «Technofood Group» SRL, the leading company in the field of equipment production for wine-making industry. At the present time the following equipments are exploited in the plant:
Filling line of wine and cognac with productivity 3000 bottles/hr applying heat filling of wine.
Two filling lines of vodka with production capacity 6,000 bottles/hr which includes: depalletizer for empty bottles; triblock rinsing, filling and packing; labeling machine for tagging, collar label, rear labels and excise stamps; monoblock formation boxes and stowage bottles; machine for lining boxes.
In receiving and grapes processing department function: four breakers-stemming machine «DPN25» with productivity 25-30 ton/hr; four alburn pumps integrated under a breaker-stemming machine; four batchers of grapes acceptance and its handling to stemming machine; four batchers of comb gathering and its aspirations; four modern Vacuum membranous press model «VS150» that functions as a strainer and the press excluding alburn repu lping, with productivity 35-40 ton/hr. Two refrigerating machineries for cooling of a mash and temperature regulation of fermentation in tanks work in this shop.
In the shop of primary processing of wine installed 88 modern, vertical tanks from stainless steel with a capacity of 3000 decalitre for each piece. These tanks are supplied with automation system of temperature control of fermentation in tanks through shirts, mixing and unloading system during wine production under red wine technology.
In the shop of secondary processing of wine there is a camera and installation for cold processing of wine, pasteurizing plant and the equipment for fining.
As a technologic unit there are wine-cellars at the factory where collection champagne, vintage wines and madeira is made and stored. This unique construction on Caucasus, built in the middle of the eighteenth century is at depth about 15 metres, has the overall length of 800 metres and occupy the space about 6000 square metres.
There are glass enameled steel tanks at the factory, which one-time capacity makes 1 200 000 decalitre. For endurance of cognac spirit, vintage wines, madeira, ports and cahors wine the factory has a large quantity of wooden oak drums which total amount makes around 1 000 000 decalitre.
There are two installations for getting high-quality cognac spirit at the factory.
They purchase an equipment for production of 300 000 bottles per year for manufacturing of collection champagne under a classical technology, champagnization in bottles.
There is used modern filtering equipment; kizelgur and plate filters with the size of plates 20x20, 40х40, 60×60.
In viniculture economy there are used 14 special tractors brand N-70 CM-B4, 4–sprays, 2 pole-setting machines to install trellis stand, 50 hydrodrills for transplanting. For the delivery of products in large cities and regions of the Republic, the plant has a large motor vehicle fleet, which includes heavy-duty trucks like Volvo F-12 2 pieces, DAF 2 pieces, MAN 1 piece and light weight Mitsubishi Canter 9 pieces. With the expected growth of manufacturing production capacity will be increased in the future.
